Biographical

Lacy Presnell's practice is concentrated in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation. Mr. Presnell has extensive civil trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts, in the representaion of plaintiffs and defendants, including trying more than 70 cases to a jury verdict. These cases include complex business and estate cases, serious injury and death claims, will and trust disputes, fraud and fiduciary claims, contracts and commercial litigation, professional malpractice claims, security fraud litigation, and bankruptcy adversary proceedings. 

Mr. Presnell has been certified as a mediator by the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts for court-ordered mediations since 1992. Mr. Presnell has acted as mediator and arbitrator in numerous cases.

Lacy Presnell is a past president of the Wake County Bar Association and the 10th Judicial District Bar. He has been featured in The Best Lawyers in America (Woodward/White) and Super Lawyers published by the Charlotte Magazine.  He also has been listed as one of North Carolina's best lawyers by NC Magazine.  In 2013 he was recognized as a Citizen Lawyer by the North Carolina Bar Association.
