Private practice 1963-2000 (Partner in Spears, Barnes, Baker etc.) Practice included criminal defense, civil litigation, family law, product liability, professional malpractice, real estate Since 2000, my practice has been limited to Arbitration and Mediation, with over 800 mediations and over 50 arbitrations, including complex multi-party cases.

Arbitrator in Federal and State Courts since 1987; certified superior court mediator since 1993.

    RATES & PAYMENT INFORMATION

    Rates:
    $150.00 one time administration fee;
    $195 per hour; $350 Postponement/Cancellation Fee with less than 7 days notice
    Travel Fee is $75 per hour and $0.505 per mile outside of Durham county.

    Cancellation Policy: Cancellation/Postponement fee is $350.oo if I receive less than 7 days notice. Exceptions are made for medical reasons, funerals and court conflicts.
