Biographical Notes:
Michael Swann is trained and certified as a Civil Trial Court and Special Proceedings Mediator and has mediated over 500 cases settlement conferences in the last 12 years. He still maintains an active law practice that has included matters before the Civil Superior Court, the Industrial Commission and before Clerks of Superior Court.
Michael has a special interest in helping family members work to resolve the type of conflicts or disputes that may arise during estate planning, estate administration or in family-held businesses. These tensions may be between older and younger generations and/or between siblings.

RATES & PAYMENT INFORMATION |
Rates: Michael’s hourly rate is $185 an hour with a $185 administrative fee. There is a 2 hour minimum for ½ day sessions and a 4 hour minimum for whole day sessions.
There is no charge for travel within a 2 hour radius of Lexington. For your planning, this area is approximately bounded:
In the East by: Raleigh [plus Wilmington/ Whiteville/Tabor City in the southeast];
In the West by: Shelby/Hickory/Boone;
In the North by: Mt. Airy/Reidsville;
In the South by: Wadesboro/Rockingham/Laurinburg
Cancellation Policy: There is no cancellation fee or minimum charge if more than 24 hours notice is provided. If notice is less than 24 hours, the applicable minimum fees are charged as set forth above.
