Biographical Notes:
Since 1972, except for a two year term on the Diostrict Court bench, Lewis has been in private practice of law representing clients in civil and criminal cases in District and Superior Courts. His civil law practice consisted of representing clients in workman's compensation cases, automobile accidents, real estate transactions, and corporate matters.
Since 1993, Lewis has handled Superior Court and Workman's Compensation mediations primarily in Eastern North Carolina. Formerly a partner with Mediation Inc. from 1993, in 1998 he formed WLS Mediations Inc, to pursue his ADR practice fulltime.
During the past sixteen years he has mediated approximately 4,000 cases involving motor vehicle accidents, real estate matters, corporate matters and construction matters. His practice is divided equally between Superior Court cases and Workman's Compensation cases. In addition to mediating cases, he also serves as an arbitrator in Superior Court cases.

RATES & PAYMENT INFORMATION |
Rates: $200.00 administration fee
$200.00 per hour
$100.00 travel fee
Payment: Payment due upon completion of mediation unless other arrangements have been made.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled 4 to 7 days prior to mediation the fee is $300. If cancelled 1 to 3 days prior to mediation the fee is $500. If the parties call prior to 7 days before the mediation to postpone or cancel there is no fee. If the mediation has to be cancelled or postponed because of the illness of either a party or an attorney there is no fee. If the mediation has to be cancelled or postponed because the attorney has been called to court there is no fee.
