Biographical Notes:
Joe Poe is a practicing trial attorney with over 37 years experience. Before entering private practice, Mr. Poe was a Special Deputy Attorney General for the State of North Carolina, in charge of the Anti-Trust and the White Collar Crime divisions, and an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx, New York. In 30 years of civil trial practice, he has concentrated on personal injury matters as well as commercial litigation for both the plaintiff and defendant. His representation of clients in just about every area of litigation, from adultery jury trials to medical malpractice, real estate and libel trials, has resulted in numerous significant verdicts and settlements. He holds an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Having practiced as a founding partner in larger firms, Mr. Poe is currently in a solo firm practice and has been mediating everything from simple accident cases to complex commercial litigation matters for the past six years.
