Biographical Notes:

Since 1998, Jennifer's practice has been devoted exclusively to resolving cases through mediation.  She has mediated many hundreds of cases, primarily in the areas of workers' compensation, personal injury, and general tort litigation.  In her mediations, Jennifer draws upon her prior eleven years of experience as a litgator appearing before the NC Industrial Commission, State and Federal Courts, and NC Appellate Courts.

  • Davidson College. Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Psychology, 1984

NC Dispute Resolution Commission Certified Superior Court Mediator, 1998; NC Industrial Commission Approved Workers' Compensation Mediator, 1998; Better Business Bureau Approved Arbitrator, 2000.

North Carolina Bar Association (August 1987 - Present)
Member of the Workers' Compensation and Dispute Resolution Sections of the Bar.  Provided comment to the North Carolina Industrial Commission in the creation of official Forms to be adopted as a result of the Legislative Reform Act of 1994.

Mecklenburg County Bar Association (August 1987 - Present)
Served on the Medical Legal Committee assisting with revision and update of the Joint Statement of Attorney-Physician Responsibilities.



RATES & PAYMENT INFORMATION

Rates: $200 Administrative Fee; $200/hour in mediation. No charge for travel within a 75 mile radius of Charlotte. Milage at IRS rate in excess of 75 miles radius.

Payment: Payment due at conclusion of mediation.

Cancellation Policy: Per applicable Mediation Rules.
