The Academy's North Carolina Bar Ad Campaign
Now that we have established the NC Academy as a de facto roster of the state's finest civil mediators, we will commence a marketing and promotion campaign, aimed at encouraging law firm staff (attorneys, paralegals, schedulers etc) to regularly use our website as a resource.

We have learned much from our experience in Florida, where the FloridaMediators.org website is very widely used by scheduling staff in particular, so we'll be able to quickly roll out a similar campaign for North Carolina.

  • Feb 2008 - Website publicly launched Feb 22, and work begins to ensure that the website is highly ranked in the major search engines. This will take at least one month to take effect.

  • Feb 2008 - Press Release (view PDF) sent to legal publications, including Bar Journal and Lawyers Weekly. We hope to confirm coverage of the Academy and our website in March editions of same.

  • Feb 2008 - We are 'cleaning up' a database of NC attorneys, recently purchased. This will be used as a direct marketing resource, to spread word of the roster to all relevant firms and attorneys within a month.

  • March 2008: Email announcement sent to over 3000 NC attorneys, announcing the association and encouraging firms to use the website as a de facto list of the state's best civil mediators. Significant spike in traffic seen on the day, and averaging 150 or so users per day since the announcement.

  • May 2008: Ads appear in NC Lawyers Weekly and traffic now increased to 200+ users per day utilizing  the website.

  • Dec 2008: Sponsorship of the homepage of www.NCLawyersWeekly.com set for Dec 2008 onwards. (Banner ad links directly to our QuickSearch page - running through to June 2009)

  • Feb 2009: New prominent ads to appear in NC State Bar Journal and NCBA Lawyer Magazine.

  • Dec 2009: New ad campaign set for Lawyers Weekly and NCBA Lawyer Magazine throughout 2010...
