My practice is almost exclusively mediation and arbitration, with a some civil litigation and criminal post-conviction representation.  I have been certified as a mediator since 1996.  I have consistently been listed in such publications as Best Lawyers in America and North Carolina Super Lawyers in the fields of alternative dispute resolution and employment law, and in 2013 I was honored by Super Lawyers as the best mediator in the Asheville area.

Rates: $280 per hour, $280 one-time administrative fee, travel billed at half the regular hourly rate (no travel fee charged for mediations within a thirty-minute radius of Asheville or Marion).

Payment: Payment is expected at the conclusion of the mediation session unless other arrangements have been made in advance. I look to the attorneys who selected me, not to their clients, for payment responsibility.
