Biographical Notes:

North Carolina Superior Court Mediator certified by North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission since1996. American Arbitration Association Mediator since 1990. For American Arbitration Association, mediated highly contested, multi-faceted construction dispute among a general contractor, a municipality and an engineer to a resolution and also in another matter was both the chair of the arbitration panel and the mediator in a four party arbitration-mediation of a substantial construction dispute among an owner, architect, general contractor and a subcontractor. Also have mediated a variety of disputes in United States District Courts in North Carolina and North Carolina Superior Courts and numerous pre-litigation voluntary mediations, but mainly construction, real estate and contract and other commercial matters.

  • RATES & PAYMENT INFORMATION

    Rates:
    Administrative Fee $250.00 ***
    Mediator Fee $250.00 per hour which is for time from the beginnng to the conclusion of the mediation process, including time for all activities in recess other than scheduling a reconvened mediation settlement conference ***
    Rescheduling or Reconvening Fee $250.00; and
    Travel Fee $125.00 per hour, which applies only if the location of the mediation involves round-trip travel in excess of 2 hours

    Payment: Due at conclusion of the mediated settlement conference. Otherwise, attorneys agree to make payment for their respective clients or have their respective clients make payment upon receipt of a mediation fee statement

    Cancellation Policy: $500.00 for cancellation less than 2 days before scheduled mediation
